Each year, over 600,000 people are released from state and federal prisons. Over 67% of these former prisoners are typically rearrested within 3 years. Through faith and fellowship, we help participants handle life's situations from a positive viewpoint, reducing their chances of relapsing.

CONNECTION to spiritual, emotional and practical needs

FreedomWorks provides a way for former offenders to connect with each other as they make the transition back into society. We are a safe haven where former inmates can find fellowship, mentoring and spiritual counseling. We also help our participants meet their immediate practical needs, such as housing, employment, clothing, transportation and financial guidance.

BELIEF that, through faith, all things are possible

Based on our current record, recidivism (returning to prison) among active FreedomWorks participants is rare: only 3% have returned to prison (2006 to the present). Now, that's a record we're very proud of!
