LEADERSHIP CHANGE AT FREEDOMWORKS

After months of patient searching, God has led us to Thom Olson who began his work as Executive Director on November 28, 2011. Thom joins us after having served the past seven years on staff at the InnerChange Freedom Initiative (IFI is a ministry to incarcerated men). Prior to his work at IFI, Thom served several para-church ministries in leadership roles.

Thom is well-known in the Twin City recovery community and is recognized for his collaborative orientation in finding and using solutions that are both effective and efficient. During his IFI service, Thom worked inside Lino Lakes prison with many of the men in the population FreedomWorks seeks to serve. He is looking forward to continuing to provide support on the outside.

We are encouraged by God's leading us to the choice of Thom, and confident that the Thom/ George team will provide the FreedomWorks ministy with strengthened and effective day-to-day leadership.
