PARTICIPANTS - Activities

Activities make up a big part of our program. Building community and relationships are important to future success during transition. Many of these activities include family members and friends of the participant.

Here are some of our recent activities:

• Community Outreach and Picnic BBQ - Participants helped cook and host an outdoor barbeque picnic for their supportive network of families and significant others during a ministry celebration. The participants' Celebration choir performed, while volunteers provided music during the event.

• Fishing Event - Many volunteers brought their boats together in June at Lake Minnetonka for participants and mentors to bond and relax while fishing.

• Golf Event - Volunteers, donors, staff and participants gathered to hit some balls and share some camaraderie one sunny day in September. (see 2008 pictures)
  
  
• Other Activities - We hold many other fellowship activities that bring our participants together in healing ways.
